At Dancerz Inc School Of Performing Arts our aim is to provide students with the highest standards of dance training in all performing arts subjects. Offering weekly classes for children from 18 months of age and up, in a warm, friendly and professional atmosphere.
All our classes are taught by ex-proffesional dancers who are highly trained, experienced teachers with a wealth of knowledge.
As a school we offer examinations, shows, and have a very successful competition team, that all students are welcome to join.

NAOMI HANNAM
Principle
Naomi started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dance school in Barnsley. By the age of 9 she had performed with London's National Youth Ballet, was a member of Royal Ballet associates and had won the ISTD's Grandison Clark award which also meant appearing on the cover of the 2000 issue of their DANCE magazine. At the age of 11 Naomi was offered a place Elmhurst school in association with Birmingham royal ballet, one of the best vocational ballet schools in the UK. Naomi competed in some of the UK's largest competitions including, The All England Finals and Miss Dance of Great Britain. When Naomi was 15, in her final competition before moving to London for further vocational training, She became the Senior British Ballet Champion.
Naomi attended Central School of Ballet, whilst there she worked with world renowned choreographers such as Christopher Bruce and Darshan Singh Bhuller and was asked to work with his company whilst still studying at school. She also worked on the Street Dance 3D Movie whilst in her 2nd year. She toured the UK with Ballet Central then most of her career was spent working for Faithless Productions. She danced on the West End in the companies production of Sensual dreams for 2 years and in early 2015 the company was hired in Monte Carlo.
Naomi finished her final dance contract in 2015/2016, at the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Europe's largest Christmas show. She completed 2 contracts with the company, the second as a Swing Dancer covering 18 tracks.
She then had 3 days off before she was flown to the Maldives, performing with Area 51 in front of many A-list stars. In January of 2016, Naomi finished her professional dance career and set out to open Dancerz Inc.
REBECCA JOHNSON
Multi-Subject Teacher
Rebecca started dancing at the age of 2 at her local dance school in Barnsley. She competed all over England, winning first place in comps as large as the All England Final. At 11 years old Rebecca received a scholarships to Elmhurst school for dance and performing arts, where she studied for 7 and a half years. Rebecca did astonishingly well at Elmhurst, gaining many solo performances, awards and was the youngest student at the time to perform the finale opening solo. She had the privileged of performing with the English National Ballet for two consecutive years in the Nutcracker. She also danced at the Royal Albert Hall in both Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake. Rebecca finished her training early at Elmhurst, she was offered a place dancing on board Artemis, for P&O cruises. She completed a total of 5 contracts for the company, 2 as head dancer. Rebecca danced all over the world in countries such as Iceland, Norway, The Caribbean, and many more.
On her return to the UK, Rebecca was offered a part as one of the dancers in Europe's largest Christmas show, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular where she danced 2 contracts. On her second year in the show Rebecca finished her dance career on a high by being offered the crucial role of Dance Captain, over seeing the success of the show, ensuring all dancers, musicians and singers were performing correctly and ensure it was performed to the highest standards.

BALLET
From 3yrs and Up
Not only is ballet a beautiful art form, it helps with discipline, attention and co-ordination and is the core of any dance technique. We offer classical classes for all ages starting from Tots to Teens. Classical Ballet is one of the trickiest styles of dance to be executed correctly, but having trained with one of the most prestigious ballet schools in the UK, both Rebecca and Naomi are incredibly knowledgeable on its difficult technique. Classical ballet classes at Dancerz Inc include Pointe work for those over a certain age who are showing the correct technique and strength.
TAP
From 3yrs and Up
Tap is an art form created by striking the tap shoe against the floor creating percussion, an advanced but when executed correctly, brilliant form of dance. At Dancerz Inc we use tap as a way of developing and promoting rhythm, improving musicality and encouraging discipline, this is why tap is very popular among young children. MODERN/JAZZ
From 3yrs and Up
Our Modern/Jazz classes offer everything that you need for strengthening and perfecting your
technique. Modern/Jazz is closely associated with musical theatre, west end musicals and cabaret shows. It is fast becoming the most popular style of dance as it is so closely connected with the fabulous tricks and tumbles we see so much nowadays and having a few extra tricks up your sleeve is an instant boost at any audition. And in every Jazz class, stretching and conditioning is part of every warm up, as strength and flexibility is key to improvement.
TINY TOTS - CREATIVE MOVEMENT
18Months - 3yrs
Our creative movement class was designed for children from walking up to 3yrs as a development class and an introduction to dance. In this class the children learn to follow and take direction. They use equipment to develop their balance and coordination, strength and flexibility and most of all, have lots of FUN!
TUMBLE @ DANCERZ INC
Acro/Gymnastics/Tumbling
Our tumbling classes start from 2 years of age and up. Using state of the art tumble tracks, air tracks and air mats our tumble children can learn amazing acrobatic and tumbling skills. We have classes in Acro and tumbling for all ages and abilities. Learn to backflip and aerial in a safe and controlled environment.
COMPETITIONS
All students are welcome
We have an incredibly dedicated competition team who have won medals and trophies in many competitions. All our students are welcome to join the competition team, should you have an interest in joining the competition team please mention this to one of the teachers and they will provide you with the relevant information.
